Put your sheets in a bucket or clean trash can with 1 quart white vinegar and warm water to cover them. Use a brick or rock to hold them under the water, if necessary. Let them sit overnight, then launder. Test your sheets by sleeping in that white tank again.

I experienced this with burgundy cotton sheets, even after multiple washes. Someone suggested adding vinegar to the water, but what I found really worked, was to wash in cold water only. I am wondering if the red might rub off onto the white duvet.

Sorry cheap sheets. Get rid of them. Spend your money instead on high count Egyptian cotton sheets in whatever color. They are softer and much more luxurious than cheap satin.
