Help with paint color for bedroom walls….??!!!?

I am planning on doing some updates to my bedroom…its been a pale yellow for years and Im tired of it….

Well I plan on buying a rust/orange duvet cover….

Plan on buying either dark red, dark brown, or dark purple sheets……..

Im not afraid of putting a bit of color on the walls….its a bigger bedroom……

What would be a good color for the walls?

Don’t be afraid of color!
Deep golds and browns are in that family of color.
I have seen pillows and sheets and other articles with all of those colors in them.
Get an object and use it as your point of inspiration.
and have fun!

a deep magenta color that has some rusty undertones in it would be lovely.

Try a burgandy red for a feature wall where your bed head is and a rich golden yellow for the rest

Lime green, maybe a sunset reddish pink. Maybe orange walls. Maybe leave 1 or 2 walls blank, you know, mix it up a little and it’ll really make the walls that are colored POP out.

I would go for a tan, light coffee color. It’ll make any color that you have displayed in your room pop. Also, if you decide you want to change the color of your sheets/blankets for seasonal purposes or because you don’t like it anymore, the tan color walls adjust to any color you bring into your room, without having to paint your room again. Happy decorating!

it depends on what you are after, research colour therapy. yellow is not a good choice for bedrooms. it is not conductive to good sleep. purple is sensual, blue calming, green healing. look it up and choose what you want for your bedroom and then pick a shade that you like.

I would do a warm brown, like "mexican sand" by sherwin williams. it will coordinate with whatever accent colors you choose to use. Check it out:

I would go with a earthtoned color suck as tan or a little bit darker. Those colors seem to match almost anything. Leaving you with more room for other colors for other accesories. Good luck!

a chocolate brown would look great. if you’re hesitant to paint an entire room brown, consider just the feature wall. also consider doing a fabric covered wall with a texture or pattern that will go well with your bedding.
