which I am planning to put in the alcove I have with my chest of drawers and a mirror above it. I have a deep purple duvet cover with a bright pink bit at the bottom which I love and have been told Im not allowed to change. I now want to know what colour(s) to do my walls. I was thinking soft coffee:

but now Im not sure if it is a bit dull and will look like polyfiller! I have quite a small room but am despirate for it to look grown up. Please help! Any ideas are welcome…
I was also wondering about a coffee bean brown??
Try using Sherwin Williams Color Visualizer to get an idea of what you like. Pick the bedroom that looks the most like yours. If you don’t like the coordinating colors, you can drag other colors to the boxes where it says Scene Colors.

Purple wall paper and duvet cover and.. well… what?? HELP, teenager in want of grown up room!!!!?
Is there a Duvet that doesnt add so much heat?
For some reason I sweat almost every night when I sleep. I’m not overweight or anything and keep it at 74 in my house (I live in AZ) so someone suggested I get a goose down comforter, a thinner one. So I bought a new lightweight "level 2" comforter form a department store yesterday. The only lightweight one I could find was of course just all white. I didn’t want all white, it would get dirty and oily i think, plus I just wanted a nice color of my own choosing. So the lady was just like "Oh yea you just need to buy a Duvet for it (comforter cover)" So I went to another store and got a 620 thread count Duvet.
Well when first got home I pulled out the comforter and it was perfect. Really light weight I loved it. I laid down for about an hour with it and didn’t get hot like I usually do after like 30 mins with my cheapo Wal-Mart comforter.
So then I put this 620 count cotton duvet on the thing, it looked great. But holy crap it was the hottest thing I have ever slept in my entire life. Is there a cover I can get for this comforter that won’t make it a sauna in my bed? Or will I just have to return all of this and buy a colored comforter? Will a less thread count cotton Duvet be better? The thing weight a ton now with this cover over it. It like defeats the whole purpose of the lightweight comforter if it’s designed to go into a cover. Why the hell don’t they make more of a verity of colors???? Just white???
Just start all over and buy this:
The one I use is by Laura Ashley. I got it at Bed Bath & Beyond it was about $100. It is immitation down. It is VERY comfy, feels just like down but not so much heat and no allergies so i love it.
it is plain white so you can cover it any way you like or leave it plain.
You will love it!
** I dont see it on their website but they still carry it in the stores in Florida so Im sure you can call your local store and see if they have it in stock.
Do you think this would look good together?
So I’m thinking this will look good together but my mom isn’t so sure about it. What do you think? Be honest please.
These blue dottie sheets:

With this brown zebra print comforter:

Perla: My name isn’t Somer.
Me: Uhm…that’s pretty honest. But by saying be honest, I meant like tell me if it looks bad or if it looks good.
A little p.s. If you don’t think that would look good, can you look on PB Teen and find some sheets or a different comforter that would look good and post the links? Thanks so much (:
way to busy
Redoing my bedroom. Suggestions please!?
I’m redoing my bedroom. I am unsure about what color to paint the walls. At this point, I have a black with small amount of white duvet cover and I am going from there. Any suggestions? And, yes I thought of red but my roommate has her room painted red so I need something different.
why not white then? it’s not the most exciting, but it’ll allow for just about anything. or pick ur favorite color and go from there with it.
Will a QUEEN bedding set work for a FULL bed if…?
…everything is queen size but the sheets? I have a FULL size bed, and there is a 6 piece bedding set I want terribly but it is queen size. I am figuring it might work since I am fine with a little bigger comfortor than I need (how bad could it possibly be)? This is what the set includes:
1 Queen duvet cover (88". x 90")
2 Queen pillow shams (20". x 26")
1 Queen Bed skirt (60" x 80")
2 Decorative Embroidered Throw Pillows
Will it work?
The bed skirt will be tricky, but you can tuck it up or pin it to fit. Everything else should be fine.
how do you like my room theme?
im about to do my room! heres the theme tell me if you like it:\
Pink blue/green dot duvet cover
PBteen white with blue/green dots on the side
light sea foam green walls.
Wow those are definitely colors that will brighten the room.
It basically boils down to your personality. Typically, persons who are bright, energetic, and bouncy gravitate toward colors that really pop. I would caution that you keep certain aspects of the room white (ie. moldings, base boards) so that it still has an airy feel and it not competing with the duvet cover. If you are getting new furniture, make sure (if a wood material) you stick with a light/medium tone. I think that maples will go nicely with your color scheme. Best of luck!
How can I keep my duvet in place inside the duvet cover?
I have a duvet and the bottom side of the cover is cotton but the top side is satin… so it slides around alot! Is there a way i can keep it from doing that?
I cant sew so i cant tie ties in the corners.
I thought about safety pins but if afraid that poking holes in the duvet will wreck it. like the big safety pins? will it wreck the duvet or would it be ok?
well the best way would be to sew it but since you cant it is probably best that you tie the ends with comforter clips which you can get from bed bath and beyond.

What colors should i paint my room?
my room is in the Attack, so the ceiling like goes kinda teepee’ish LOL . if that makes any sense. , i have a slanted window, my room gets a nice amount of light in the mornings
im making a duvet cover for my bed its a chocolate brown, a bright greensish and a beautiful almost hot pink colors, what colors can i color my walls? i also have blue duvet covers and white i want to give my room a makeover what are some nice colors what go together to make things warm, and cozy and a place where you’d want to be
My friend has a attic room too, her colors are pink and brown with these like deeper chocolatey brown lines on the bottom.
Try to experiment with bright colors to stop brightening up the room like light blue and dark blue… or lime green and dark green. =)
or even two different colors like pink and blue… thats what I have =)
also i read somewhere that every color has like an effect… green = tranquility… blue = comfort … and pink = glam
Accent walls in the bedroom?
I am thinking of painting an accent wall (or 2) in my bedroom. I recently did it in my living room and LOVED the results, so I was thinking about the bedroom too. My bed and a dresser is on one side, 2 windows and a dresser on one side, walk in closet one side, and 2 small closets and the door out the other side (opposite the windows). I am thinking about brick red, it goes with all my sheets/duvet covers and my carpet in the bedroom is cream, so I thought it would be a nice balance. Dressers are one is white, and one is oak. Do you think I should do 1 wall, 2 walls, and which walls would be the best? I was thinking about the wall behind the bed and the wall the door is on. Opinions?
When considering an accent wall remember that’s exactly what it should be an accent-in the bedroom the focus generally is the bed so choosing that wall is the correct choice(and only that wall) You already have picked a great color pulled from your bedding Take a look at(home depot) Behr antique red (S-H-190)IN the flat enamel ,its not too red -not too rust and has great coverage (something that can be very difficult with reds)
Please help — duvet covers?
I’ve been looking everywhere, every website I can think of, and I can’t seem to find anything near what I’m looking for. I love jewel tones, dark intense pinks especially. This is the kind of style I’m looking for http://www.worldmarket.com/home-decor/decorative-pillows-throws/toss-pillows/Malika-Silk-Medallion-Print-Toss-Pillows/lev/4/productId/8845/Ne/1100001/sectionId/2867/N/1100068/categoryId/1100068/pCategoryId/1100067/gpCategoryId/1100065/Ns/NEW_ARRIVAL_FLAG|1||CATEGORY_SEQ_2914|0/index.pro and I would really like to find something I could match these with.
Thank you so much for any help!
Hope one of these will work for you:
