A sophisticated bedroom wall colour?

I have black furniture with light brown hardwood flooring. My two duvet covers are white and purple, and then white and lime green. I would like some kind of colour on my walls other than a white. Any suggestions?

im thinking a color that goes with both green and purple could only be yellow. nothing else goes with both. maybe a pale green….that would add a lot of pop to the purple and if its a contrasting depth of shade thats in your lime green, it will compliment it too.

Do you think this would look good together?

What colors should i paint my room?

my room is in the Attack, so the ceiling like goes kinda teepee’ish LOL . if that makes any sense. , i have a slanted window, my room gets a nice amount of light in the mornings im making a duvet cover for my bed its a chocolate brown, a bright greensish and a beautiful almost hot pink colors, what colors can i color my walls? i also have blue duvet covers and white i want to give my room a makeover what are some nice colors what go together to make things warm, and cozy and a place where you’d want to be

My friend has a attic room too, her colors are pink and brown with these like deeper chocolatey brown lines on the bottom.

Try to experiment with bright colors to stop brightening up the room like light blue and dark blue… or lime green and dark green. =)

or even two different colors like pink and blue… thats what I have =)

also i read somewhere that every color has like an effect… green = tranquility… blue = comfort … and pink = glam

Which one? Anyone want to help?

I’m having a hard time redecorating my room. I just bought a new duvet cover, which is a plain rich dark brown. Then I bought a rusty orange throw for the end of my bed. Then I also bought a pillow sham that was rusty orange with a paisley design on it. I want to add like a turquoise color or maybe a green? My walls are a ivory color and the trim around my room is white. What color/colors would match with the brown and rusty orange?

Both colors you suggested would work. The critical element here is to include a pattern of some sort. So far it looks very "safe" with mostly solid colors. Pull in some accent colors for the accessories or lamp shade, etc… include both the colors you like. I love that you have selected items that are not all "matchy"- It just doesn’t look "designed" if it’s all coodinating components. Michele

I’m looking **to order online**. The comforter i’m looking for has to be Queen sized, and black and white zebra print. i’ve been finding a lot of brown and creme prints, and i just want the black and white. Also if it could be a reasonable price, under $120, that’d be great too
not a duvet cover— a comforter.

my parents are having another baby, so they are making me move downstairs to a bedroom that they built. its fairly big, almost the size of my parents’ room. the bottom half of the wall sticks out a few more inches than the top along two of the walls, and there is a window that is about what i think would be average "bedroom-sized". I’m a laid back 16 year old girl. I’ve already had my bedroom light purple, and light orangish. i don’t like yellow, and i really love my duvet cover (medium brown) so i don’t really want to change it. any suggestions?

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. i wanna redo my room, i got the comforter already, i need a duvet. Where can i get them? i want a Med blue with Choc brown, or Dark brown with baby blue..
i have a nice down, i paid a pretty penny for it (300) now i want a cover for it, and i dont mean "bed in a bag"
ya Jc penny only has like 6 duvet covers, i only need duvet covers, not a fake comforter, i need the cover that u put a down white comforter in.

yeah i say jcpenneys. they have some for $30 or so. blue, sage, ivory and linen(tan)

i just put one on my wedding registry for the alternative down comforter i put on the registry the other day.

i think they have some with prints too

I am painting my bedroom a dark green ( Almost an olive color, but lighter) and i have a brown colored duvet cover with green and white leaves on it. Do you have any suggestions on what I should add to it to make the color’s "pop" ? ( like white, to make it stand out? ) And what decor should I add on the walls, ect. Im thinking of adding a rug, but i cant seem to find anything.

There is a cute pattern that I’m in olove with at PB Teen. What should I do, because I have limited funds so I can’t get both.

I like the duvet- I have a duvet and all I use is the sheets on my bed- and my duvet. Duvets are great because they don’t keep you too hot or too cold. Also, the one you have is gonna be pretty cute!
