I have a burgundy/gold saree hanging over my bed and have two duvet covers that I switch every so often (one is burgundy and one is a light gold) with the room having cream colored walls. What color would be best for some curtains and the bed-skirt? Burgundy, white, cream, gold, or brown?
(I tend to over-coordinate and don’t know if burgundy would be too much)
Leaning towards eventually having black furniture, but open to white.
A light pink would work very well if you want to focus on the burgundy. Otherwise, both white and gold curtains and bed skirts are great choices to tie the colors together.
Hope this helps

If you want to warm up the room, you can add brown tones. Or lighten it, you can use beige. White and maroon go well together but not so much if you throw in gold.
