There is a cute pattern that I’m in olove with at PB Teen. But I have to choose between the duvet, http://www.pbteen.com/products/p3326/index.cfm?cm_src=rel , with brown sheets or the sheets, http://www.pbteen.com/products/p3328/index.cfm?cm_src=rel , with a brown quilt. What should I do, because I have limited funds so I can’t get both.
I like the duvet- I have a duvet and all I use is the sheets on my bed- and my duvet. Duvets are great because they don’t keep you too hot or too cold. Also, the one you have is gonna be pretty cute!
Duvet cover or sheets?
Any advice on indie/contemporary room decoration?
I’m redecorating my room and I want it to have an indie/ contemporary feel. I’m getting a firebrick red iron bed and I’m buying a royal blue and white floral duvet cover from urban outfitters. I have alot of black stuff in my room. What color do you think I should paint my room? (Oh, and I’m a girl.) Thanks!
You could go with White, since you will have White in your Duvet cover. Or, you could go Blue, either dark like the Royal or, in the same family of Royal but much paler. You could paint a couple of walls White and one Wall in the Red or Blue. Really, the possibilities are endless.
Of course, your accessorizing will really seal-the-deal as far as pulling-off the Contemporary look… glass, silver, chrome, crystal, mirrors, art work, lighting. Definitely set your lighting on dimmer switches. Do not discount the effectiveness of an Area Rug to ‘anchor’ the room either, *s*.

How do I get rid of nail varnish stain on duvet cover AND duvet?
On my nice blue duvet, there is now a LARGE bright pink stain, thanks to a nail varnish spillage. I’ve mopped up the worst that was still wet, and dabbed some varnish remover on the rest, which had got some of it up. Unfortunately, it’s soaked through the actual duvet underneath. How do I get it off?!!? Thanks!
I have done that whilst sitting in bed and applying nail varnish. These are some hints. Washable fabrics, Do not use on acetate fabrics. Remove as much as possible, then treating from the back of fabric use non-oily nail varnish remover, being careful not to spread the mark, wash as normal. Test the affect of the varnish remover on a hem before using on fabric. Non Washable fabrics ,Immediately take to the dry-cleaners.
The duvet well it depends on what it is made of and whether it is washable. I would get it to the cleaners

Actually, the link you posted brought me to a FULL size and the seller is King. I found the queen size at this link below:

Where can I find a reasonably priced duvet cover?
I’m looking for a reasonably priced duvet cover for a king sized comforter. I would like something stylish, masculine, with some kind of print. Ideally, I would like something in a dark blue, but anything but brown would do. (everyone seems to have a brown bed these days!)
I’ve been looking at West Elm, Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, Target,
Bliss Living, Overstock.com, and Amazon to no avail.
Any suggestions?
Yeah, I have tried Ikea, didn’t love anything. Kind of liked the dark blue duvet currently there, but I’m afraid it will look to much like a denim, which I think would be weird. If all else fails, I think I will go with this one:

(only problem is it’s white)
JC Penney’s has really great deals sometimes. You could always check them out.
Where can I find good bedding?
Does anyone know where i can find a nice red or silver satin comforter/duvet cover??????
There are many places that you could look for bedding. However, if I could caution you, satin is not a good choice for bedding. It will get nicks and pulls. Basically a piling affect.
Places like Macy’s and Dillard’s carry some good high quality bedding. Also, try Bed Bath and Beyond and Target. One really good place to look is TJMaxx. It’s a great place to find great things at lower prices.
I need to remove a nail polish stain from my duvet cover?
I have got a pink nail polish stain on my white duvet cover (new) i need to be able to remove it without my mum finding out
Please help i will be in so much trouble otherwise!!!!
Nail polish remover, paint thinner, rubbing alcohol you can use either ones.
Where can I get the best Egyptian cotton bed linen?
In London, UK, looking for really good quality bed linen – sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers.
Dunelm Mill if you have one, they are dearer than ordinary sheets, but much nicer to the touch
black and brown furniture problems!?
Ok, so im moving into my sister’s old room which has handmade by the Amish (med to light darkness) brown wood bed and dresser. She also has a lime green (but not terribly bright) desk that i would like to keep if possible. I planned on having my room color scheme black and white, and then have bits of color here and there (such as black and white pictures of flowers with a red rose in color). I found a duvet cover i like from pottery barn teen http://www.pbteen.com/products/nouveau-organic-floral-duvet-cover-and-sham/?pkey=cgirls-duvet-covers that i would like to use. I am also planning on painting my back wall behind the bed a color. However im worried that i can’t do this with such a big piece in color in my room (the green desk similar to this http://www.pbteen.com/products/stuff-your-stuff-desk-and-under-desk-cart/?pkey=cdesks) and then i am really really worried about having brown furniture with the black part of my decor…. should i abandon the idea and if so what do you think would be cute… or do you think there is a way i can make it work and if so how? please please please help because i have no idea what to do! thank you sooo much in advance! ![]()
also my mom refuses to let me take out the wood furniture because it was so expensive
It sounds excellent with the black and white wall art with the pop of red, accents in lime and lavender coordinate perfectly….lavender accent wall?
Since black and white is neutral, they compliment wood tones and add balance.

I PAINTED MY BEDROOM PINK i am an ADULT! HELP ME?
I can’t believe what I have just done.
I bought a tin of dulux "babe" – thinking it would make my bedroom into a real babe’s bedroom, and hence myself into a babe.
it is CANDY pink and not only is my room making me hungry, but also sick. it looks like a 15 year old’s bedroom. I am 28.
Someone help me. I cannot afford to buy any new paint for at elast a month. Are there any accessories I can put in my room which will make it more sophisticated? Only one wall is solid pink but theother three are whitey pink, a lot less brash. The duvet cover is red and the carpet is cream.
I will be eternally grateful for any help with this matter. The sexiest man in the village has a veiw of my bedroom walls and i don’t want him thinking i am some teenybopping princess.
I have a tin of black paint… any way i can work this in do you think? is pink and black still teenage?
Next time use a virtual room designer: http://www.findanyfloor.com/VirtualRoomDesigner.xhtml
try using this right now and see what colors you like. once you figured out the color you like then print it out and take it with you so they can match the paint you want! (I am so sorry about your horrible pink room- but you did make me laugh a little)! That’s funny! Dont worry it will be fine, just use the designer next time when you’re ready to buy new paint and make sure you test it out on a piece of your wall next time (let it fully dry to see the final result of the color)!
GOOD LUCK! (In the meantime – go to a fabric store and buy some cheap fabric in a color you like a pin it to your wall, maybe even hang a picture too over the fabric to give it some character!
